NIU Science Saturday - Programming Robots with Lego Mindstorm

Date: February 25, 2012 Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Event Description

Add some wonder to your weekend!

Beginning in February, NIU STEM Outreach is presenting interactive hands-on science classes to help students in grade 4 and up explore scientific concepts on everything from the physical properties of sound waves to the forces that keep roller coasters from flying off their tracks.

Students can sign up for just one or as many sessions as they want. Parents are welcome to attend their students' classes and get in on the fun.

February 25 - Programming Robots with Lego Mindstorm (enroll by February 19) Space is very limited!  Morning session filled! We've added an afternoon session 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 25.

Learn the basics of robotics and programming using Lego Mindstorm Robotics kits. These kits include motors and sensors that you can program yourself to make your robot perform a variety of tasks.
