Event Description:
When you think of fall, apples often come to mind. On Saturday, October 5th, make those thoughts part of a fun family activity. at the DeKalb County History Center's annual Fall Festival.

Starting at 1:00 pm, visitors will have the chance to step back into the past and make apple cider.  Bill Mitchell will show and invite visitors the process.  They will clean apples, grind apples, and finally press apples using an old apple press.  "This is a great family activity, and then you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor with the freshest apple cider around!" explained Executive Director, Michelle Donahoe.
