Experts in DeKalb County continue to collaborate to reduce opioid usage and address related issues. Find out what progress is being made toward eliminating this crisis. Interested audience members will have a chance to be trained in the use of Narcan to prevent death related to overdose. Narcan will be provided to anyone who attends the training. Speakers: Cindy Graves, DeKalb County Health Department Rick Amato, DeKalb County State’s Attorney Joe Przybyla, NIU Police Commander and Paramedic Laura Meyer-Junco, UIC College of Pharmacy Representatives from the DeKalb Police Department This event is free and open to the public.
